Stampin' Up! In Color Palette for 2014-2016 Announced
Stampin' Up! released their 2014-2015 catalog yesterday, revealing the new "In Color" palette for 2014-2016 as well.
Each year, Stampin' Up releases a palette of 5 colors for its color media collection that will be only available for two years. The company appears to be alternating releasing collections of dark and light colors, so there is always an active In Color light palette and an active In Color dark palette.
For 2014-2016, Stampin' Up! was replacing the 2012-2014 collection which was made up of dark shades. Stampin' Up! fans must say goodbye now to Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Starfruit, Gumball Green, and Primrose Petals. (I am a huge fan of Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple and use them quite often myself.)
The new 2014-2016 In Color palette, while dark like the previous palette, is bolder:
The fingerprints of Pantone's recent colors of the year seem to be all over this year's palette. Blackberry Bliss is a darkened version of the current year's orchid; Mossy Meadow is a slightly earthier version of the Emerald from 2013; and Tangelo Twist is a slightly brighter (updated) Tangerine Tango from 2012. (And I would not be surprised to see a shade of yellow be next year's Pantone color.)
The Stampin' Up! In Color palette for 2014-2016 is available individually in the following products: Classic Stampin' Pad & Ink Refill, 8.5" x 11" cardstock, and 3/8" stitched satin ribbon. The palette is also available as a whole in a set of markers, a 12x12 cardstock assortment, an 8.5" x 11" cardstock assortment, sequins, clothespins, designer series paper, and cut & ready card bases.
