Quick Thanksgiving Layout with Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice
Sometimes when you get on a roll working on a project, you don't want to stop! That happened to me with my Thanksgiving Layout-A-Week project that was published last week.
I made a single page layout featuring several key photos from the event but when I was done with it, I had several wonderful photos I still wanted to record. And I definitely didn't want to be done playing with the fun Simple Stories Pumpkin Spice collection...so I kept going!

Supplies:
Simple Stories SNAP labels
Black pen
This quick layout was the result!
The layout is a simple strip color block design that was fast to put together. To break up the blockiness of the design, I angled several design elements used for the title and journaling. The "Thankful" title and the card with the heart on it are cut from journaling card sheets in the Pumpkin Spice collection. Journaling cards aren't just for pockets! Then the final element was a label from the Simple Stories SNAP collection, which holds my basic journaling notes.
The flowers in the corners of the layout are part of the background paper. I wanted to give them some extra embellishment, so in the bottom corner I used the collection's brads to add a little dimension and design to the flower's centers. I did the same with the enamel dots for some of the flowers in the top corner.
