Scrapbook Expo fun with Fun Stamper's Journey!

This time last weekend I was in Virginia, visiting another Scrapbook Expo on behalf of Cricut. The Expos are a vibrant place full of inspiring people and products. It's always a pleasure to spend a weekend immersed in the excitement!

One of those people is Richard Garay of Fun Stamper's Journey. Some of Scrapbook Update's readers may know him from the line he previously did for Spellbinders, but these days he's busy launching his own direct sales company called Fun Stamper's Journey.

Richard, and Fun Stamper's Journey, have been a big presence at Scrapbook Expo shows this year. Their huge (and free) make and take is incredibly popular with show attendees. Richard's presentation is so engaging and fun to watch!

Participants in the make and take get to use (and take home) this gorgeous stamp set that is a Fun Stampers Journey exclusive set just for Scrapbook Expo in 2015!

The stamps are red rubber cling mount, and stamp wonderfully.

Since I'm too busy working my own booth to do other booths' make and takes, Richard was kind enough to send me home with the paper, embellishment, and stamp kit to try the project. Using my own inks to match the instruction sheet colors as close as possible, I created a gorgeous card!

The Fun Stamper's Journey bling embellishments that come with the kit are beautiful. The colors are pale, yet somehow still impactful. I usually find these sorts of embellishments to be too garish but I adore these colors!

If you are attending a Scrapbook Expo and want to catch the Fun Stamper's Journey make and take, first thing in the morning when the show opens is your best bet to avoid a wait at this popular activity.

And then, at least in Schaumburg, Duluth and Denver, come see me in the Cricut booth! I'll be waiting!
