Snapshots from Creativeworld - Day One
European trade show Creativeworld is going on in Frankfurt, Germany from now through Tuesday and I'm there to show you some of the highlights!
One of my favorite things about traveling to Germany is the food! A "Berliner" isn't a person who lives in Berlin - it's a breakfast must-have, a sugared pastry with a tiny puff of jelly in the center.
In the morning there were big crowds in the Torhouse at Messe Frankfurt, one of two entrances to Messe Frankfurt where trains stop in the Messe's own train stations.
Needcraft, a UK company, is showing off their kits that make DIY lampshades easy (and affordable). The kits can be used to create professional looking lampshades out of whatever fabric or other material you would like.
Andre Suskavcevic from the Craft & Hobby Association gave a Creative Talk about the trends that CHA designers see in the crafts industry currently.
Dyan Reavely was demoing in the Notions booth, showing off her new paint line from Ranger.
The real Japanese washi tape from Kamoi Kakoshi Co called mt, is available in multiple widths and every color and pattern imaginable.
Tina Mercardo and Craig Desouza have been manning the CHA booth at Creativeworld as part of CHA's pavilion at the show. Craig is from the CHA's UK affiliate.
Aimee Filimoehala from Graphic 45 was doing a make & take this morning in the booth of their European distributor.
