Inque Boutique Bought By Darice

Inque Boutique, which recently seemed to be foundering, has apparently found a buyer: crafts giant Darice. According to an email that was sent today to Inque's wholesale customers, Darice has bought all of Inque Boutique's product lines.

Inque's John McDonald was quoted in the announcement as saying "Darice is one of the largest and very best companies in our industry and their resources, distribution systems and merchandising programs will bring added benefits to Inque Boutiques' customers and products."

Darice's Mike Catan had this to say: "Inque Boutique's innovative rubber stamping and paper crafting product lines are a natural fit to augment our already extensive paper crafting offering and we look forward to working with the Inque Boutique customers in the future."

It is unclear at this point whether Inque Boutique will continue to operate as an independent company or will become an in-house brand name of Darice. I will continue to follow this story and provide an update if more information is made available by Darice.
