Panassidi's close Junkitz and join Inque Boutique team
Major dual announcements were made yesterday by Junkitz and Inque Boutique regarding the future of Junkitz and its founders Stacey & Kenny Panassidi.
The first announcement was made from Junkitz. Effective Friday, Dec. 21st, Junkitz has ceased operations. The Panassidi's founded the New Jersey-based Junkitz in 2003. Its unusual products included zippers and other fashion-inspired items.
The follow-up announcement was made by Inque Boutique, an upcoming stamp and stamping supply company. Inque Boutique announced its intent to expand its scrapbook product offerings and said Stacey & Kenny Panassidi have joined their team to assist them in their efforts. Inque Boutique promised that the first products in its expanded scrapbook offerings would be seen at CHA-Winter.
In a statement issued through Inque Boutique, the Panassidi's expressed enthusiasm for their new endeavor:
We are truly excited to get involved with this vibrant young company. Their enthusiasm is contagious and their determination to help the independent stores is something we also believe strongly in. The Inque Boutique team is second to none and we know that together we will be able to bring beautiful and innovative and fun scrapbooking and stamping products to the market. We can't wait to see what the future brings and we are looking forward to seeing many of our friends and colleagues at CHA winter!
